I still can’t believe it took me so long to make the connection between my blog’s birthday (anniversary?) and the date 420. Especially since I have lived in Weed Central for so long. Maybe it’s because weed and I do not enjoy each other’s company. I have certainly tried over the years, but our every encounter in every form makes me nervous, paranoid, and generally freaked out. It’s disappointing, since other people report how relaxed and happy it makes them. I guess I just have to go old school to relax.
On this day, my blog is 24. Hard to believe I have written about nothing for so many years. With the latest vicissitudes in my life, my desire to write seems to have diminished significantly, but I’m hoping that I will be able to emerge back into the light and continue to write. Cheers to me, my blog, and survival!
A YEAR AGO: My blog turned 23.
FIVE YEARS AGO: I finally figured out the 420 thing. I’m a slow learner.
TEN YEARS AGO: Lots has changed since I first started my blog.
FIFTEEN YEARS AGO: Happy birthday, blog!
TWENTY YEARS AGO: I will never get all the nonsense out.
