Mysterious
Clearly, June knows how to spend a dark, rainy day. Even if her blanket of choice does clash a little with her orange fur.
Here you can see her multi-colored pads, to match her multi-colored fur. One of life’s enduring mysteries is how June can keep her white fur snowy white when our house is surrounded by mud. And I can’t keep the mud out of the house or the car. What’s her secret?

Cats hate being dirty, they keep away from dirt, they wash or lick their fur several times a day and of course spend the better part of the day sleeping or in this case in blankets.
June sure does look comfortable…lucky lady. Where is Audrey? Have they stopped sleeping together?

I think Audrey was outside as usual. I don’t think I’ll see her much in the summer!
They do still sleep together, but June sleeps with me every night.
Kitty is the same way – perfectly white feet at all times, even when she used to get to go outside. I’m sure she’s unimpressed with our ability to stay clean. 😉
I wish I were curled up in a blankie right now like Ms. June. Not that I’m cold or anything, would rather be there than at work listening to engineering talk.
