Snow Sign
On my way home, I saw this sign on a bus stop and found it pretty damn funny. The little arrow pointing to the poor, parka’d victim of the blizzard says “You are NOT here”.
I realize that those of you who live where there is actual weather, real seasons, and full-frontal blizzards with temperatures below zero on both scales will not find this as amusing as I do, but as usual, I was unable to restrain myself. If nothing else, it’s a clever advertising slogan, right?
PS I have no idea why the picture is so very azure. Will blame it on the twilight I now have to endure on the way home, thanks to the time change. Why do we put up with it?!

I wonder at the correlation between blizzards and litter…
Perhaps they heard that we Eskimos burn trash to keep our Igloos warm…
But I’m not bitter….
That made me laugh out loud!
Hey, that’s me in the parka trying to cross the street last winter! =) Thanks for your herbal suggestion and comments. They are helpful and are most welcome!
I am so NOT ready for winter and that picture just made me cold!!! I think it’s time to crank the space heater up!
That was kind of me, yesterday, here in Iowa. I took a long walk under heavy cloudy skies that promised rain. There was color in the oak leaves that are still bronze and orange but faded… like an oriental carpet. As I approached my house, it started sprinkling….but then the wind rose and tiny pellets of snow swirled down instead. Covering me and the grass and the sidewalk and the street and the back of Gracie, my tall, black Standard Poodle. Making that dry metalic sound like teeny beads filling a bowl.
Today it was 68.
LMAO! It’s like the signs by the side of the road in Jamaica that say (they’re constructed right over an old, burned car from an accident) “UNDERTAKERS LOVE CARELESS OVERTAKERS!”. They seem threatening, but they’re actually just plain ol’ funny. And nobody heeds them. Mwah. Signs are funny. 😀
