Number One with a Bullet
Ever wondered what to do with those pesky wedding rings, promise rings, and other sentimental jewelry which are no longer sentimental? Assuming, of course, that you refrained from throwing them back at the giver (though I believe tradition dictates that the one who gets left gets to keep the jewelry, as a sort of consolation prize: “And thank you for playing our game!”).
Worry no longer. The good folks at Goddammo will help you out. For a nominal fee, they will transform your unwanted rings’n'things into something much more useful: a bullet. Keep in mind: they don’t include gunpowder, and platinum costs $5 extra.

You’ve remodeled! I had a moment of “Where am I?”! Looks good!
A bullet is a really unique idea. I thought about taking some of my old rings and making them into a pendant or something, but then I’d have to like, go somewhere and ask, and pay, and it seemed like too much work. heh.

Thanks, guys. I can’t take the credit, though – that belongs to the fabulous webmistress of smartass.nu!

LOL, Suzy-Girl. Can they engrave his name on it? I still have my old engagement and wedding ring but I much prefer wearing silver jewellery these days so they remain in my jewellery box. One day my niece will receive it and she can do with it what she wants too. I have had rings changed though – the gold melted down and re-designed with other stones.
Enjoy the rest of your week Suze. ((( hugs )))

Mom had her diamond reset into yellow gold (her wedding and engagement ring were white gold) and accented with sapphires (her birth stone). I have no clue what happened to the metal.

Thanks also for the kind words about my situation with my Dad. I’m lucky to have sympathetic internet pals.
